Marketing and Advertising Tools

Many advertising and marketing tools can be found on the internet and many have the same system design for helping draw traffic to your website and affiliate ads. As I have searched for unique ways to advertise, I have found a few that are different and seem to help. Here is a list of the programs and tools that I use and have found them to be user friendly and all for free.

List Jumper is a great tool where you read e-mails from others and in turn you gain credits that allow you to jump over others in the list and then send advertising e-mails to those in the list under you. As a free member you can send up to 100 e-mails every three days. List Jumper is the first list building site EVER where it doesn't matter when you join, because you can improve your position daily by "jumping" over other members so you will have more people after you to mail your offers to!

InstantBuzz is a unique way to gain free advertising for your website. You install a tool bar which will fit in your browser and it will display simple online ads. Every time you surf the web and open something in your browser an new ad appears. When an ad is displayed on your browser, your ad will be displayed on another web browser. The ads are not large and is a very effective way to get your ads displayed for others to see. I highly recommend this tool for effortless advertising, with nothing to do but surf the web for automatic ads.

List Sufing is similar to List Juumper but instead of only sending e-mails to others you also get banner and text ads too. Along with reading e-mails you can surf the internet and see other websites and gain advertising credits. While you surf for credits you will see small ads in the header of the page and this is where your banner or text ads will appear when you use your ad credits. So this is highly useful as you can send e-mails and have ads on other browsers for a double useful tool.

TrafficMomentum
is the latest blog traffic tool I have joined. This appears to be a great idea for fellow bloggers to connect and share unique traffic. You join and then install a code on your blog layout section and it will randomly display other google blogs along with wordpress blogs too. When this is on your blog, it will put your blog link on others websites too.
While TrafficMomentum displays eight links, six of them are used for promoting other blogs. One is a selected link to support the operation of this free blog promotion service - and the last one is your TrafficMomentum link bringing you new links on other blogs. Your links will stay on other people's blogs permanently - bringing you constant free traffic.

So these are my favorite tools to use and hope they can help you too. Best of Luck!

The Battle Between SEO and PPC - Which is Best For Search Engine Marketing?

Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click advertising are two widely used techniques in which webmasters use to increase traffic to their websites. When both techniques are executed properly more users will be directed to your website.

So if both of these techniques get the same results how could one be better than another? Let's start out by breaking down each technique.

Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC)
Pay Per Click Advertising is available through several search engines but the most commonly used PPC advertising is done through Google AdWords. The first step in setting up PPC is selecting your keywords. Second, you must place a bid for each keyword. Each time a search engine user clicks on your advertisement you will be billed by Google the agreed amount bid. You can set a daily spending limit on your account so that once your daily limit has been reached your ads will be taken off the search engine.

PPC Positives
Since you are paying for a top position in the search engine, you will start receiving traffic to your site as soon as you launch your PPC account. As long as you continue your campaign your traffic should remain relatively constant.

PPC Negatives
PPC campaigns can get pricey very quickly. Each keyword you choose has an individual bid price. These bid prices vary from a couple cents a click to well over forty dollars! Assuming you don't have an unlimited PPC budget your spending limit can be reached relatively quickly. Once your spending limit has been reached your advertisements are taken down from the search engines and that's the end of your traffic for the day.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization consists of two elements, on page optimization and off page optimization. On page optimization includes researching and selecting keywords and then making changes to the title tags, header tags, image alt tags and a lot more. The off page optimization consists of building links from directories and other related websites that point back to your site using what is called a contextual link.

SEO Positives
Search Engine Optimization in comparison to PPC can be relatively cheap because you can do the research and implementation on your own time. After your SEO has been implemented and top search rankings have been achieved, you should get the traffic to your site that you have been working hard for. If you continually add fresh new content to your site and expand on your link building efforts there is no reason why you can't keep these rankings. The end result could be maintaining your sites traffic for as long as your site continues to be live on the internet.

SEO Negatives
It can take months/years before your keyword(s) reach the top page of Google and other search engines. It is believed that over 85% of search engine users do not click past the first page in the search engine. SEO can be very time consuming and there is no promise of success. If SEO is not done correctly or is abandoned your search results and your traffic will suffer. SEO is never "completed" it will always require more work as Google changes their ranking algorithms regularly.

Who Is The Winner between SEO and PPC?
Everyone has their own opinions and I am not going to say that any technique is best. Simply put, both SEO and PPC have their time and place. A combination of SEO and PPC is my personal favorite. Use the PPC heavily in the beginning while your organic SEO isn't converting any visitors. As your keywords rise in the search engines results you can lower your PPC spending. In a perfect world you will eventually rank at the top for all your keywords and you can end your PPC campaign all together.

Forget the Make Money From Home Scams - Run a Real Internet Business That Generates Serious Profits

You're fed up with your day job, you hate your boss, and you just can't stand the thought of going to work tomorrow. You open up Google and look up various ways to make money from home, and pretty soon you've familiarized yourself with the hundreds of outdated, useless, even scammy courses promising you hundreds, or even thousands of dollars a day. You may even try a couple, only to realize they don't teach you a thing.

Perhaps you've passed this stage and have looked into the field of Internet Marketing. You know the importance of establishing a real online business, and are prepared to put in a realistic number of hours with realistic expectations as to what you will earn, but you just don't really know where to start. If you're at this stage, or new to Internet Marketing, then I've written this article with you in mind.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet, as I know your time is valuable. In this article I'm going to teach you one of the oldest, yet most profitable ways to make money from home. A to the point, useful business strategy, that you can start implementing immediately.

Ohh but if it's old, it won't work will it? Not true. Real, sound business strategies that work and bring in profits will never die out, and this is one such strategy. It's stood before the tests of time again and again, and as someone who has been in your shoes, I can tell you that if your goal is to make money from home, then this strategy works more than any other.

So what is this strategy? Quite simply it's selling rebrandable products.

Something so simple, so easy, that requires no previous business experience or capital, yet you're probably going to dismiss it with a hundred and one excuses as to why this strategy won't work for you (even before you try it). But if in the off chance you're more of a realist than a pessimist, then I'm going to show you just how rebranding products and selling them as your own is the number one ticket that all the big name gurus use to make serious money from home.

Take a look at any commercial website online. Go ahead and do a Google search. You'll find tens of thousands of digital products for sale, complete with convincing sales letters as to why you should buy the site's product.

Now, what if I told you that those products weren't really owned by the vast majority of those websites? What if I told you that most of the owners of these websites were just simply buying resale rights to already existing high quality products, then rebranding them and selling them as their own?

If I told you that, I wouldn't be lying, because it's true.

So how does it work exactly? Quite simply, some people will create a product and sell a "resell licence" to it to a limited number of people, usually one hundred or so. Whilst the product itself remains the same, these people who purchase the "resell licence" are free to rebrand the product with their own name and their own logo, and sell it as their own. Then, when the consumer comes along, they look at the product, thinking its original, and they buy it.

Some of these sites will overprice the product by sometimes twice, three times, or even ten times its original value. The best thing of all however is that you can do this too, and it's perfectly legal (provided you obtain the "resell licence").

All you need is a website, a domain name, and a product to sell. You can even find a lot of these resellable products online free, with complete sales letters. Simply set one of these sales letters up on your website and recruit an army of affiliates to market the product for you and voila - you're your own digital product merchant who makes money from home on autopilot.

You didn't need to pay hundreds of dollars to hear this useful tip did you? Oh no. But it works. This online business strategy is so simple, so easy, and is the roadmap I use to make real money, but the reason you won't hear about it from the "gurus" is because it reveals the exact same business strategy that they use to make money from home. And people never like sharing their real strategies, do they?

David Franklin is a controversial, no nonsense Internet Marketer who has "rebelled" against the mainstream charlatanism of the Internet Marketing Niche. He runs a free course teaching anyone who wants to join free ways to make money from home by selling rebrandable products.

Traffic Generations - 3 Great Website Traffic Generation Methods

There are several website traffic generation methods that you can use to promote your site. These methods are best used in conjunction with email marketing and list building, but can be used to drive traffic to ecommerce sites as well. In fact, you will find you are most successful when you use these website traffic generation methods in conjunction with a free giveaway or special offer.

1. Online Classified Advertising. These ads are becoming more and more popular. Especially if you have something to offer for free, something to barter or trade, or something to sell that is a great deal, this is the best place for you to be spending your marketing efforts. They are free and used by people around the world. Craigslist alone received as much traffic as EzineArticles last month alone.

2. Article Marketing. Speaking of EzineArticles, this is the most popular site for article submissions. Article directories are a great way to promote your site because you can post to specific categories, show off your expertise and knowledge for your niche market, and reach your target audience. If you're lucky you will get your articles syndicated and find yourself in the middle of a virtual traffic storm.

3. Social Networking and Social Media. Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and Linked In are just a few of the social networking sites being used very successfully to generate traffic and buzz. You can also use social media such as You Tube to create videos for the same purpose.

Do you want to learn how I build a list and make money online? I've just finished writing a brand new FREE ebook called '7 Steps to Profits and List Building with Article Marketing'.

Keyword Tool - Improve Your Campaigns

When setting up a marketing campaign for your products and services, a keyword tool comes in handy. With a good keyword tool, you can research the demand for the products, in the form of the keyword, being searched for the most, and how much competition is already filling that demand. You can in turn use this information, to help you to, set up a campaign, that is much stronger than your competition. One thing is certain, keywords are the foundation, of a successful campaign, from the ad itself to the landing pages. Having the right keywords can bring you an avalanche of traffic. Google AdWords offers a free keyword tool, that is popular among internet marketers and the like. With the tool you can get keyword tips and ideas and they have now added a keyword search based tool. Google does not guarantee that your campaign performance will be improved, just, because you're using their tool. But, it's better to use their tool, than just taking, a guess in the dark, for a keyword and hoping that it works out.

Now that you've researched and decided on a low competition keyword, what next? Now comes the time to test and track it. But, in this phase, you don't want to lose a lot of time and money. Many internet marketers, new and experienced, start with setting up pay per click ads. They do this, through the major search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. With pay per click ads, you can start with only $5 and have your ad placed, literally, in front of millions of potential customers, in about 15 minutes time. This seems so easy, but yet, about 90% of marketers fail with Google AdWords. Should they set up ppc for search or content, and how do they exactly reach their targeted audience, etc? Needless to say, one can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars in a short period of time. That is why, now, many advertisers, seek guidance, from keyword and pay per click experts. So, a keyword tool is just the tip of the iceberg. To have a successful conversion rate of selling your products and services, you will also need to learn, how to place the keyword effectively into your ads and landing pages and the number of times to place the keyword. Using these strategies, will help you work smarter, to improve your campaign's performance in a shorter period of time. In time, you will always be way ahead of the game, in the marketing world.

Get your pay per click campaigns optimized in less than 10 minutes, in Google, Yahoo and MSN. With this easy to use amazing system, your pay per click ads and landing pages will automatically change to match the keywords your prospect types in....sending your click rates and traffic through the roof. This is a Windows software application that brings the power of dynamic keyword insertion in ppc ads and web pages to everyone; not just us marketing geeks!

The Power of FOCUS and Why it Will Either Make Or Break Your Efforts

Many people are under the assumption that making money online is straightforward and nice and easy. There are SO many sales letters showing the pictures of fast cars and holiday snaps with the system seller advising he/she continues to make money without doing much work. This leads the reader to the false conclusion that all that is necessary is to sit in a chair for a few hours and click some buttons.

Whilst for the experienced online entrepreneur it could be described as an easy process - for those getting started it is often anything but. When newbies buy into a system that promises them ease (and assuming it is not one of the many scams out there) and they are not earning money quickly frustration rapidly sets in. The resulting dwindling focus can cause the individual to quit or look for a better and "easier" system.

If you buy into a system that is genuine the real key is to take CONSISTENT action - an hour a day or whatever you can manage will rapidly build up and in a less than a month will become a new habit. To stay focused define what your realistic goals are - yes some people make 6 figures a day - but starting out that is highly unlikely to be you.

When you sit down to work each day for your allotted time ensure you will be free of distractions. Chatting to a friend about who is going to win the latest reality TV show via MSN messenger is NOT work! Shutdown all your instant messengers and social networking sites and take action towards your goal.

You may find it useful at the end of each day to write 3-5 things on a small card you MUST do the following day in your allotted time for your new business. Then, when you sit down simply go through each item on the list. If you do not get them all done - that is nothing to beat yourself up over - as you have ALREADY taken action! Simply make those item(s) the top item(s) for the next day. This is a very simple technique but it is VERY powerful.

How to Start an Internet Business

So you've made a decision to start a business on the Internet, but what are you going to sell? Are you going to sell your own product, and how do you decide what that will be? What niche will that be in?

Before answering any of these questions you need to sit down and decide firstly, why do you want to start an Internet business.

Most people aren't rational when it comes to marketing decisions in an Internet business. A typical newcomer to Internet Marketing is strapped for cash and needs to make money immediately. The ads that promise instant riches are really attractive when you are broke, the sales person recognizes your situation and seems to be offering a solution to all your problems. You sign up there and then, paying money for a dream. When it comes down to the harsh reality, you have just paid for a business in an area you know nothing about and because you are desperate for instant cash you move on to the next promising sales pitch. You are the marketers dream!

If you are in desperate need of money, you should sort out your finances before starting an Internet business. If you have your financial life sorted out you will be in a position to build your business slowly and steadily to prepare the ground for a solid reliable income in the future. No Internet business will give you overnight riches. More than likely, you will spend a fortune on advertising and buying leads that don't deliver there promises and end up more desperate for cash than ever.

Firstly, decide what area you want to market. If you have a particular interest such as dogs, it would be wise to do some research into this niche. If you have an interest in a particular niche and some knowledge you have more to offer someone searching for information in your particular field of interest. People are searching the Internet for information and they mostly want this information to be free. So you provide this information, perhaps in the form of a free ebook and receive their name and email address. Now you can keep in contact, offering information and building up trust and respect. Once you have the trust and respect you could offer a product, something you know will capture the interest of your prospect. If you have been offering free information on dog grooming for instance, you could eventually offer the grooming products at a reduced price. They will think this offer is just for them. It's a long process but building up that trust means you may gain a good customer who will trust you and buy from you.

Whilst building a website in your particular niche, you could also become an affiliate marketer selling other peoples products for a generous commission. The products you promote should be in the same niche as your website. If you are building up traffic to your website promoting dog related information, then that traffic will primarily be interested in dog related products.

An Internet business is a good way to earn extra cash online but takes time to build a solid income. It is not a way to get rich overnight and anyone who promotes a business this way should be avoided.
